Biography

Jordyn F. Bochon, born in May of 1985, grew up in a neighborhood of peach-colored duplexes in Edmonton, Alberta.

At the age of 18, having graduated from the International Baccalaureate program of Victoria School of Performing and Visual Arts, she moved to Vancouver, British Columbia where she obtained her Bachelor of Media Arts (majoring in animation) from Emily Carr University of Art and Design.

Aside from art and film, Jordyn's joys in life are making hand-bound books, music, the good company of warm hearted people, old architecture, and the theatrical arts (of which she often partakes).

"Quirky, humorous, and dark, her work deals with tense relationships, the beauty of inner-city life, and scientific fictions."

Currently, Jordyn lives in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia with her partner and fellow artist, Tim Carpenter, and her lovely supermodel feline friends, Tuna Newn and Crowley Algebra Fitzgibbons III (pictured left). Tim and Jordyn have worked on many collaborations together, including several comics, numerous jigsaw puzzles, and a of couple short animated films.
